Keanes Stoneware 33 Ilmenite - 10kg

Keane's popular Stoneware 33 clay body with Ilmenite.  The Ilmenite is added to amplify the bleeding through of the glaze in reduction.  Stoneware 33 does the decorating for you, producing a heavily iron-speckled surface.  It's a versatile plastic body with lovely throwing properties, also good for hand building applications.

Firing Range: 1000-1300c (Cone 06-10)

Shrink: 1000c - 7.2%, 1200c - 12.2%, 1280c - 13.4%, 1300c reduction - 14%
