Brimstone Stoneware Clay

Born of fire. Forged in shadow.
A dark and brooding stoneware clay that speaks in whispers of ash and earth. Brimstone Clay draws its name from the alchemical sulfur of old, an ancient element tied to transformation, ritual, and flame.
Rich in iron and mystery, this clay body fires to a deep charcoal in oxidation and an almost pitch black in reduction. Strong, smooth, and moody to the touch, it's ideal for forms that carry weight, both physically and poetically.

Bisque - 1000*c (Cone 06)

Glaze - 1240 - 1280*c (Cone 8-9)

Shrinkage wet to fired - 13%
