Saturday Morning Weekly Casual Class
Want to do a pottery class but need a bit of flexibility then our classes are for you. From beginners through to potters of all levels, this class is structured to help you learn to improve your skills on the wheel or try your hand at sculpting or hand building. Come along and enjoy a fun and relaxed class while learning new skills.
When: Saturday Morning - 9.30am - 12.00pm
What you will learn over a number of weekly classes
- How to centre your clay on the wheel
- How to form cylinders
- How to create simple bowl forms
- How to trim your pieces
- How to decorate using underglaze and carving
- How to glaze your masterpieces
For Casual Classes, you will need to purchase a $25 tool kit, and $18 for clay for the first class, subsequent classes are $38.00 per class.

PLEASE NOTE:
Class will be cancelled if less than 6 people are enrolled (this has never happened), in which case all payments will be refunded. All other deposits and class payments are non-refundable but will be held and transferred to another class of your choice (assuming there is a vacancy) for a term of 12 months from date of payment.
Please also note that this class is not suitable for children under 14 years of age due to needing to be a certain height to use the wheel.
All work from this class will be kept at the Studio for a period of 3 months, after which time, any uncollected items will be disposed of.
